Summary

Summary

The patient chart resembles a paper chart; tabs at the top divide the chart into sections of relevant information for an ob/gyn practice so you can quickly locate information in the chart. Within the summary screen, a provider can effortlessly identify date and results of pap smears, mammograms, encounters, and list of active medications.

Summary

Colposcopy

The provider can easily document a colposcopy visit by pointing and clicking on the image where the abnormalities were visualized. The instructions given are templated and can be configured to any wording of choice.

Summary

Gynecology Visit

When a new patient visits the office, they fill out a patient history form and the front office staff scans the form into AdvantaChart. AdvantaChart uses optical character recognition technology to automatically enter the history information on the paper form into the office visit. The information can then be reviewed by the provider using a SOAP note format or by selecting the different sections of the office visit. When an established patient visits the office, the information from the previous gynecology visit is pulled forward to the current visit, eliminating the need to re-key history information. ICD-9 and CPT codes are selected from a list of codes commonly used by your practice.

Summary

Prescriptions

Prescriptions commonly used are templated so that the provider can click on the template name and print to give to the patient or the front office staff can document that they phoned in a prescription for a patient.

Summary

Antepartum Visit

Antepartum visits follow the same format as the ACOG Antepartum visits. Visits are displayed in columns so that the visits can be seen consecutively. When a patient comes in for a visit within a pregnancy, a new visit is created which will display a column to enter in the values for the antepartum exam.

Summary

Pending List

AdvantaChart streamlines the workflow process of the office by the pending list. Any office visits that have not been signed off by the provider are sent to their pending list. Phone calls by patients are tracked in the pending list, and stored in the patient chart. They can be assigned to any staff member, given a priority, forwarded, and reassigned. Tests and Labs are tracked to ensure that labs that have been ordered are received, reviewed, and the patient is notified if necessary.

Summary

Patient Tracking

Once patients arrive and check in at your office, their flow through the visit is tracked at every stage.  Patient charts can be opened from this ‘Patient Tracking’ view.  The titles of each stage and room names can be easily adapted to those your specific practice uses.
